AMBE Foods , represented by our Director& Founder Anmol Sharma opportunity to participate in the Geelong–India Collaborative Futures Forum as part of the Agribusiness Breakfast. It was a privilege to share the stage with industry leaders Angeline Achariya FTSE GAICD and Vivek Govindaraj, with Natasha Jha Bhaskar joining remotely, contributing to a insightful discussion that bridged manufacturing, innovation, and global trade.
A key takeaway: the Australia–India agribusiness relationship isn’t just about trade; it’s about building integrated value chains. From Ambe Foods’ perspective as a regional manufacturer, there’s a strong opportunity to connect Australia’s strengths in agriculture, dairy quality, and food safety with India’s scale, rich food culture, and dynamic market demand.
We explored how dairy—from milk to paneer and yoghurt—can form the foundation of a broader value-added ecosystem. From RTC and RTE meals to future nutraceutical and protein-based products, there’s a real path to an integrated roadmap that strengthens agriculture, manufacturing, and global market access.
These conversations reinforce our belief that regional manufacturing in Australia can play a pivotal role in global food systems, especially when we foster collaboration across industry, research, and trade.
Huge thanks to the organizers—Alex Boyle, Kushiel R Prasad MIML, Deepak-Raj Gupta OAM, Prakash Gupta, Geelong Manufacturing Council, Jennifer Conley—and to all fellow panelists. We look forward to continuing these conversations and seizing the opportunities ahead.
