Bear with me on this one…….
Thanks to whoever decided they would jump our fences, open our strawberry farm gates (probably eat some strawberries) and leave without closing the gates behind you.
These actions meant our cows got into the strawberry field and near the house (lucky for you they didn’t end up on the road!), had a field day feasting on the plants and destroyed the irrigation lines.
This was months of work for Brad and me, not to mention the thousands of dollars’ worth of plants shipped from Tasmania and equipment.
Want to know why small business struggles? It is things like this that set us back months in time and money.
We already work full time jobs and we were hoping to reopen the farm gates soon after months and months of work getting to this point.
Once we have made the area safe again, checked the calves are ok and tidied up the mess, we will be checking our camera’s for who did this to our farm. Or you can come and apologise and help us clean up the mess.
