Important Notice to Our Valued Customers & Community
After much consideration, we would like to inform our customers that we will be restructuring our business operations, with our retail storefront for produce closing as we transition to focusing solely on the wholesale side of the business. Our expected final day of retail trade will be 30th June.
We would like to sincerely thank our loyal customers and the wider community for the incredible support shown to us throughout our time operating our retail store. Your support, encouragement and friendships have meant more to us than words can express.
After more than 35 years of our family growing and supplying produce to the Cowra community, we want to reassure everyone that we are not stopping — we are simply evolving and changing the way we operate to continue serving the region into the future. You will also see us more regularly at small producer farmers markets.
This restructure will allow us to continue growing and strengthening the wholesale aspect of our business while also avoiding ongoing stalemates with Cowra Council regarding the usage of the front parking area of the shop. Alongside this, the continued rise in overhead costs including energy, wages, and the increasing cost of sourcing fresh quality produce has made retail operations increasingly challenging.
To our existing wholesale customers, weekly order customers and voucher recipients, please be reassured that these services will continue undisrupted. Orders can still be placed through our page as usual, and we remain committed to providing the same quality produce and service you have come to expect.
We are also pleased to confirm that our popular value seasonal boxes will continue to be available for delivery.
Over the coming weeks, we will have large markdowns across a variety of our small producer and specialty items, so we encourage everyone to come in and grab a bargain before our retail closure.
