At Dagun Station today (from 3-5pm) we're featuring lovely sourdough breads and pizza bases, tasty vine ripened tomatoes and a range of fruit trees, including locally-adapted cherry, apple and pear varieties. The Goods Shed is open, with chilled wines, cheeses, and some laid-back music to await the storm (? apparently....). See you at Dagun!

Talk about the Great Unknown! Erring on the side of extreme caution, our regular market committments have been suspended for this week, while we watch and wait for what TC Alfie brings us. Pomona Country Markets have been cancelled (a whirling dervish of loose marquees is a little frightening!) and our stall at Dagun Station on Saturday afternoon will be absent.
Keeping fingers crossed that damage is minimal, and that all remain safe.

Happy 2025! Looking forward to catching up with all at the regular Saturday Social at Dagun Station when we resume there on 18th January, 3-5pm.
If you fancy a bit of a splash in the park, the Mary Valley Country Harvest Co-operative will be at Pomona Country Markets from 7am-noon. It's definitely fruit season!

Phew! Saturday 28th December is predicted to be the hottest day of the year! Us folks at Mary Valley Country Harvest Cooperative will be taking a break until Saturday 11th January, to recharge after what has been a very challenging year, weatherwise particularly.
Looking forward to a little break, and we'll catch up with you again on 11th January at Pomona Country Markets in the morning, and at Dagun Railway Station in the afternoon.

Come join us to celebrate the true change of season and shift into warmer weather routines, heralded by the Spring Equinox, with a meander around the Dagun Labyrinth on Saturday 21st Sept between 5-8pm.
It's also a Full Moon week, so it should be another delightful evening! Here's the info:
5pm-8pm on Saturday 21st September
at the old Dagun Railway Station (Natural History Walk gardens)
Take a contemplative meander through The Dagun Labyrinth.
She will be adorned in style befitting such a special occasion but you should wear warm clothes.
The Labyrinth is a walk of about 1200 thoughtful steps so allow at least 45 minutes for your journey.

Pumpkin soup and toast & warm drinks will be provided.

It's Winter Solstice! Longest night of the year tonight, before we welcome lengthening days.
Don't forget the very special Winter Solstice celebration at the Dagun Labyrinth tomorrow (Sat 22nd June) from 4pm. Best time will be from 5.30, but come along early to join in the regular Saturday Social at the station (bring an instrument!). And make a lantern (all materials provided)!

PLEASE NOTE: Dagun Growers market is currently in recess while growers re-establish after a pretty severe summer and early autumn. We are hoping to re-open in mid-2024. Watch this page!

In the meantime, the Saturday Arvo Social at Dagun Station will still be running from 3pm at the Goods Shed, and you can order fresh vegies and fruits from the online market of Mary Valley Country Harvest Co-operative to pick up from there on the Saturday as well. The online market opens Sundays at noon and closes Tuesdays, and you can choose individual items or a Farmers' Choice Bag (containing a great selection of locally grown, seasonal produce). We're updating! Our online market will be temporarily out of operation until about mid-April 2024 while we update our site and test-drive a new sales platform. Pretty exciting! It's a challenging time to grow anything right now - apart from grass, which has taken control everywhere! - so we're hoping to recommence markets at Dagun Station in a month or so when we can be more confident in having a consistent supply of lovely fresh vegies and fruits.

Just a quick note to advise that Dagun Growers Market istaking a break this week, but returning on Saturday 8thJuly at 3pm.
Our crew is a bit light on this week as a result of some respiratory illnesses (there are some things that just NOT be shared!).
Mary Valley Country Harvest stall will, however, still be over at Pomona Country Markets for the morning, with our full range of fruits, veg, herbs, breads and much more. Come and visit us on t'other side of the river!

A special hurrah to the wonderful people who have enjoyed our Saturday afternoon markets and social get-togethers at Dagun Railway Station throughout 2022. What a year it's been!
Please note that there's no market at Dagun on Christmas Eve, but we'll be resuming in mid January 2023.
Still wanting some fresh pickings, bread, plants or maybe contents for a Christmas pressie hamper? Mary Valley Country Cooperative growers will still have a stall at Pomona Markets on Christmas eve, starting at 7am. But get in quick - the early bird gets the goodies!
