Norman Hedditch started this company in 1987 and hasn't looked back now owning 2 vessels the South Seas Daniela and the Rat Patrol catching fresh trunks of fish as well as frozen fillets. Working over 12 hour days for 5 to 14 day fishing trips, averaging about 280 days at sea. We catch all our fish on a hook and line operation meaning we pull every fish in by hand! Toni Hedditch (Normans daughter) Opened Mackerel Online in April 2020 due to covid-19 crashing our interstate markets.
