Love is coffee has ventured south largely due to the great effort of the beautiful miss Jane. Today is our first day at the Torquay farmers market. It’s been a great day catching up on the goss of the markets with a few familiar traders. Fish guy, sausage man and pasta boy. Love is coffee is booked in to this market every Saturday from here on and of course eltham farmers market every Sunday. Happy new year and here’s to building the dream.

Random Coffee Quip:

Few people realise coffee starts off as two seeds in a cherry. After pulping and drying it is sold as green beans then it's my happy job to roast it. Unlocking its flavour.

**The Coffee Man Story - Part 2**

I have been involved with coffee since forever. My first coffee job at about 18 after my chef apprenticeship was for a stoic Italian by the name of Pierrot.

It took 2 years of polishing the burnt orange Gaggia before he would even start training me on how to make coffee. It became my second apprenticeship and it was where I fell in love with that machine and coffee.

Now I roast 8 different coffees fresh at the markets. Fresh is best, and a coffee that is roasted on the day is an experience to savour and very, very unique.

Through this page, I invite you all on a journey into my coffee world. So, thanks for the "Likes" and for your time. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with you. Feel free to ask any questions about coffee. My kindest regards to you all.

**The Coffee Man Story - Part 1**

Hi, my name is Jason Thompson aka The Coffee Man. I have a stall at the Eltham Farmers' Market where I roast your coffee every Sunday. My brand is "Love Is Coffee" and yes, I love the stuff. Nuts on it. I roast 8 coffees from around the world and use a 3-generation broker to source ethically-traded coffees.

My price is below average for the quality of Arabica coffee I use. Usually seen at around $16/200g, I sell for $12.50/250g. Big difference, and the best thing is, I roast the coffees fresh on the day at the market. Because of this, please come early because I do sell out.

I am sure many coffee consumers have never taken a bag of coffee home that has just come out of the roaster. It is so different and amazing.

Hope to see you soon!
