Wilga Meats has been a trusted supplier to Dubbo and the Central West for over 20 years, providing high-quality fresh meat and portion-controlled products to butcheries, restaurants, cafes, pubs, clubs, and aged care facilities.
We’re on the lookout for an all-rounder to join our team! This is a full-time role, perfect for someone who is physically fit, hardworking, and eager to be part of a fast-paced wholesale meat processing facility.
📅 Position Details:
✅ Monday – Friday (occasional Saturdays)
✅ Shifts: 3:30am – 12:00pm
✅ $70-90K pa depending on skills and experience
✅ Relocation support for the right person
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
🔸 General butchering & boning in a value-added meat processing environment
🔸 Preparing portioned meat products for the hospitality industry
🔸 Operating equipment and supporting the butchery team
🔸 Adhering to food safety regulations & HACCP standards
🔸 Following Work Health & Safety guidelines
🔹 About You:
✔ Fully qualified butcher OR 3rd/4th-year apprentice
✔ Valid car license
✔ Hardworking, reliable, and a team player
✔ Ability to multitask and work under pressure
✔ Strong problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude!
