On Saturday evening, Peter attended the Team Woods Boxing Gym Bass Strait Cup at the Latrobe Memorial Hall to support 15 year old Jake Riley in the ring.

Jake is the son of Sean Riley, who first started working with Peter & Una 15 years ago and now continues his role as Maintenance Manager for Petuna in Devonport.

For Peter and his family, maintaining these long-standing connections and friendships is incredibly important. The people who have worked alongside Peter & his family over the years are genuinely valued, and it meant a great deal to be there supporting both Sean and Jake on Saturday night.

Peter thoroughly enjoyed the evening and was proud to watch Jake not only win his fight, but also be awarded Fight of the Night - a fantastic achievement for the young boxer.

Jake is hoping to be matched for another bout at the end of the month in George Town as he prepares for the Australian Titles in early July.

Peter & Una Seafoods wish Jake all the very best with his training and upcoming fights and look forward to continuing to support him into the future as his boxing journey progresses.

A very special Peter & Una Seafoods “Happy Mother’s Day” to all the beautiful mothers, grandmothers, mother figures and incredible women who shape our lives with love, strength and care. 💗

Today is a particularly emotional one for our family as we celebrate our very first Mother’s Day without our beloved Una.

Peter & Una Seafoods was more than just a business to Una — it was a reflection of who she was. Warm, hardworking, generous and deeply devoted to her family, friends and community. She created a place filled with laughter, stories, support and connection, and her presence is still felt so strongly within these walls and amongst all those who knew and loved her.

Today we remember Una with so much love and gratitude. What an example she set for all of us. 💕
