What a morning!
A huge thank you to everyone that came along to our very first Pothole Pantry brunch today. We honestly didn’t know what to expect, and seeing the old road filled with friendly faces, coffee cups and good conversation meant the world to us.
An extra special thank you to the beautiful people who walked in as customers this morning and somehow ended up helping us like old friends by the end of the day. From clearing tables to lending a hand wherever it was needed, your kindness carried us through.

Thank you for supporting small, local and homemade. From the bottom of our hearts, we’re grateful for every coffee ordered, every scone shared and every kind word spoken today. We couldn’t have done it without you all.
We’ll restock the jam shelves, wash the cake tins and do it all again soon.

Allyn River Pothole Pantry’s First Brunch on the old road this Sunday May 17th from 7am - 1pm.

We’re warming up for our very first brunch on the old road.
Locally roasted coffee beans, fresh scones with cream and jam of course. bacon and eggs, homemade cakes and a few simple menu items to start your Sunday.

The farm stand will be open too, with all the town favorites , relishes, sauces and cordials. Come for a drive , a yarn, and a slow morning with us. 493 Allyn River Road, East Gresford.

Look what’s back!
Passionfruit has been pretty slow this year but I’ve wrangled a few vines and captured the last of the summer sunshine.
I’ll get them out to the usual places as soon as possible.

Sold out — every last jar of our choko pickles has found a home. Thank you for supporting locally grown & made.
If you’ve got a glut of chokos, I’d be grateful to trade some pickles for your surplus.

Come see us this weekend Gresford Billy Cart Derby down at the Gresford Bowls, Sport & Recreation Club car park.
We will have a small selection of farmhouse preserves and the sweetest stuffed cookies this side of Maitland, hot pies, sausage rolls and cold drinks.

With a bit of luck (and a small miracle), the pumpkin patch might actually give us some beauties this season.
Sadly, thanks to the noticeable lack of bees around here, we’ve been out there playing matchmaker ourselves — hand-pollinating pumpkins along with the other morning chores.

This little fellow is the only bee I’ve spotted in months — a leaf cutter bee, doing his best to carry the load.

Thanks to you, our homemade local fruit cordials have completely sold out 🍋
Because of that, our cordials are now officially out of stock until citrus season rolls around again 🍊

“This apple pie is so big it makes me look thin!” — Rob, proudly holding it for the photo.

I have one last freshly made apple pie available. It freezes perfectly for Christmas, weighs in at a hefty 2.6kg, and is handmade using my three-time award-winning recipe.
