Honesty time. Over the next few days you will notice price increases across the store.
Our weekly grocery spend averages around $20,000
Freight on an order of that size (around 5 pallets) is now approximately $2,680, which is pushing close to 20% of the total value before stock even reaches the shelf. In some cases, this means our sale price is lower than our replacement cost.
To add to this, recent government changes mean we will no longer be able to pass on EFTPOS fees (around 1.5%), so these now need to be built into pricing as well.
These decisions are not taken lightly. We remain committed to keeping prices fair and as low as possible while keeping the store viable.
We are open every day over the Easter weekend from 7am–7pm. Keep an eye out for details on our in store Easter egg hunt this Sunday.
