bar, that serves coffee that we have painstakingly chosen as our perfect cup of coffee. PLUS a dedicated Cheeseroom. Our aim is to impart our knowledge onto you, the community and share together with you our love of good food. Who ties the best cacciatore? 🤌🌶️

This week Louie and I decided to challenge Nathan from LOT 24
— a professional butcher
— to a cacciatore tying competition. 🇮🇹🥩

The real question is… who’s got the best style? 👀

While we’re having a bit of fun, don’t forget that cacciatore season is here and Napoli Mercato & LOT 24 are making it easier than ever to continue the tradition at home.

✔️ Option 1: We make the sausages to your preferred recipe and spice blend. Simply pick them up, take them home and hang.

✔️ Option 2: We prepare your mince to your preferred fat percentage and mince thickness, ready for you to season, fill and make your own cacciatore from scratch.

We also stock the machinery, equipment and spices you’ll need for sausage-making season.

Orders are open throughout June & July.
Order by Friday for delivery the following Friday or Saturday.

Napoli Mercato together with LOT 24 are making homemade cacciatore easier than ever, with 2 simple options to suit every level of sausage maker.

Option 1:
Choose your preferred spice blend and we’ll make the sausages up to your liking — ready for you to simply pick up, take home and hang.

Option 2:
Want to do it your way? We can prepare your mince to your preferred fat percentage and mince thickness, ready for you to season, fill and create your own cacciatore from scratch at home.

Plus, we have all the machinery, equipment & spices you need for your sausage-making season. 🇮🇹

For the month of June & July, orders in Fridays for delivery the following Friday & Saturday.

Fichi d’India… one of those fruits that instantly takes you back 🇮🇹

Native to Mexico but brought over to Italy centuries ago, these vibrant beauties found their second home in the south—where they thrive in the dry, sun-soaked land.

And these ones? Grown right here down south in Manjimup… planted by our Nonno over 50 years ago 🌵

Don’t let the spikes fool you… inside is pure magic.
The texture? Juicy, soft, almost melon-like but with tiny crunchy seeds running through it.
The taste? Lightly sweet, refreshing, somewhere between a pear and watermelon with a subtle floral note.

It’s that kind of fruit you grow into… a bit like olives and chinotto. As kids, you’re not quite sure—but as you get older, you get it. And when you do… there’s no going back.
