Woohoo! First Agfest: Done and Dusted! 🦪🚜✨

Woohoo! Our very first Agfest is officially in the book! We are feeling beyond grateful and just a little bit emotional looking back at the last few days. To every single person who stopped by the Little Shuck Truck, whether you’re a regular who follows us everywhere 🤭😜🥰 or a brand-new friend we met this weekend: THANK YOU!

We hope you enjoyed every single salty, fresh slurp as much as we loved serving them. There is nothing better than seeing those "oyster happy" faces and knowing we brought a true taste of Bruny Island to the heart of the festival.

We’re feeling incredibly humble (and just a little bit tired!), but our hearts—and stomachs—are full. Speaking of full stomachs, a massive shout-out to our legendary fellow stallholders who kept us fed and hydrated 😆:

Tassie, you sneaky thing! You almost blew us away (literally, that wind was no joke), 🤸but then you went and turned on the sunshine! 😍 After yesterday’s deep freeze, we didn't know if we were shucking oysters or ice cubes🤭, but today was pure magic.

A massive, humble thank you to everyone who swung by today. Whether you came for the oysters or just used our stall as a windbreak, we’re so glad you stopped for a yarn! Seeing the smiles (and the sunnies!) made our day. 🥰

A massive, shivering THANK YOU to everyone who braved the Antarctic wind tunnels of Agfest Field Days, Tasmania today to support us! Seeing your faces (well, the bits of your faces not covered by beanies and scarves) made it all worth it.

What’s the go for tomorrow? The forecast says "cloudy and warmer," but we all know Tassie weather has more mood swings than a teenager. 🤭 It’ll probably be four seasons in the time it takes you to shuck a dozen. Dress for a blizzard, pray for a tan! 🧥☀️

We’re at Stall 404-9 Fourth Avenue 😁. If you’re lost, just look for the Fried & Loaded truck or Woolies—we’re the ones nearby with the world-class oysters and the very frozen smiles. 🧊😁

Today isn’t just any Tuesday; it’s the Royal Birthday of the woman who keeps the brine flowing and the vibes high. We are sending a massive, salt-sprayed Happy Birthday to the one and only Isabel! 🎈✨

If you’ve ever stopped by The Shuck Truck, you know Isabel doesn’t just serve oysters; she serves looks, laughs, and the absolute freshest Oysters you’ll ever have the pleasure of slurping. Whether she’s leading the charge at the window with that infectious smile or making sure every single Oysters is 10/10 quality before it hits your plate, she is the heart and soul😍.

From Twilight to Sunrise: The Launceston Marathon! 🚐💨

If we look a little blurry today, there’s a very good reason! 🤣

Our weekend started with a massive night at the Hobart Twilight Market, and before the stars even had a chance to fade, we were back on the road. By 3:00 AM, while most of the world was tucked in, we were hauling The Shuck Truck toward Harvest Launceston.

Was the drive worth it? Every single kilometre.😍

Steve was a machine today! Every oyster you enjoyed was shucked with love (and probably a lot of caffeine). We hope you tasted the freshness in every slurp! 🦪✨

If Isabel looked a little... "zombie-chic" today, it’s because she’s running on exactly three hours of sleep and pure oyster-fueled adrenaline. If she started trying to shuck a lemon instead of an oyster toward the end, now you know why! lol. 😴

Beyond the food, the kindness you showed us today was the real highlight. We see you, we appreciate you, and we feel so lucky to be part of this community.

We’re heading home with tired feet but very full hearts. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, Launceston. ❤️
