UPDATE: New Car Park Shade Sails Now Complete 🚗

Our new shade sails have now been installed in the upper car park! 🙌

We know many of you have been asking for more shaded parking, so we’re pleased to have this upgrade complete and ready for you to enjoy. A big thank you for your patience while the works were underway.

📢 IMPORTANT – UPDATED HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS
🚗 Upper Car Park: 2.4m height restriction
🅿️ Basement Car Park: 2.2m height restriction

Please keep these height restrictions in mind when visiting in a larger vehicle. If your vehicle is over 2.4m in height, alternative parking is available near the Woolworths Loading Dock or in the car park near Domino’s.

**CENTRE UPDATE – CAR PARK SHADE SAILS & LINE MARKING**

To our Holmview Central community,

In the coming days, we’ll be installing new shade sails (we know you’ve been asking for these!) across selected areas of the upper car park.

There’s no perfect time to complete this project, but our team is working closely with the contractor to ensure it takes as little time as possible. So, we would greatly appreciate your patience while these works are underway.

What’s happening:
Each stage of the shade sail installation will take up to 4 days, with the first 2 days focused on drilling and installing the footings, followed by approx. 2 days for the installation of the frames and fabric.

🚧 Stage 1 – Middle Bays (highlighted in yellow): Works will take place from 20 – 24 August.
🚧 Stage 2 – Back Bays (highlighted in orange): Works will take place from 25 – 28 August.

🅿️ Parking: Car park bays along the front of the Centre and the side adjacent to the travelator will remain available.
🚙 Basement Parking: We recommend using the basement car park while works are underway. Please note that some areas will be temporarily sectioned off while drilling takes place above.
🚶 Pedestrian Access: Footpaths will remain open, with pedestrian access maintained throughout the works.
🚗 Traffic: All roadways around the car park will remain operational, with traffic management in place to help customers move safely through the Centre.
⚠️ Safety: Temporary fencing and construction activity will be present in the affected areas, so please drive carefully and follow all directions and signage.

Construction will take place on Monday to Saturday from 7am–5pm, with each section being reopened as soon as works are completed.

📢 IMPORTANT – Height Restrictions: Once the new shade sails are installed, the upper car park will have a 2.2m height restriction. Please take this into consideration if you are visiting in a larger vehicle.

For vehicles over 2.2m in height, alternative parking is available near the Woolworths Loading Dock (highlighted in blue) or in the car park near Domino’s.

Line Marking Works – Line marking will be undertaken during the evening, at a separate time, to help minimise disruption to customers and Centre operations. We’ll keep you updated on when these works are scheduled to take place.
