Cathels - a Founding Family of four generations.

The Cathels family started at the old Haymarket Markets in 1956 with dad David and his father beginning the business. David Cathel started selling apples for Batlow apple growers which began their main product line.

Celebrating a historic 70 years of being run under the Cathels name, this family is proud of their hard work generational story.

Ferdinand Giuseppe Catanzariti aka Joe Catanzariti aka Joe Catz, has been a Paddy’s Market trader at Flemington on Friday & Saturday for the last 42 years. Joe started his career at the old Paddy's Haymarket.

Joe and his children Rodney, Dom, Chris, Phillip & Louisa, have helped Joe make his tropical fruit speciality stand, at Paddy's Door 9, into the successful business it is today.
