Last Friday, Pham Group IGA was accompanied by Terry Healy MLA, Mayor Terresa Lynes - City of Gosnells, Councillor Balli Singh - City of Gosnells, Dillon Mason, and the City of Gosnells Councillors and representatives to celebrate the restoration of the basketball hoop outside of our very own Huntingdale IGA.

Once again, a huge thank you for shopping locally at Pham Group IGA. We can't make our community better without your support ❤️. We gave away over 100 basketballs 🏀 and 40 footballs 🏉 to local families, kids, and community members. Thank you to all who showed up, and what an amazing afternoon it was!

What an afternoon!

We honestly didn’t know what to expect. The weather forecast had us nervous, and whenever you put on a community event there’s always that question in the back of your mind: “Will people come?”

Well, you certainly did.

In just 20 minutes, we gave away 115 IGA x Perth Wildcats basketballs and 40 West Coast Eagles footballs, and it was fantastic to see so many local families, kids and community members come together.

The highlight wasn’t just the giveaways – it was seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces and using the new Infinity Hoop at the park in front of our store being put to good use straight away. That’s what community is all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who came down and supported the event. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.

Thank you also to Mayor Terresa Lynes - City of Gosnells, Councillor Balli Singh - City of Gosnells, Dillon Mason, and the City of Gosnells Councillors and representatives for taking the time to attend and support the event.

And a special thank you to Terry Healy MLA and his team for helping organise the day. We also have to give a shoutout to the staff who tirelessly pumped up 100 basketballs before the event — a job that definitely didn’t go unnoticed!

Days like this remind us why we love serving our local community. Thank you for making it such a memorable afternoon.
