We are a boutique producer of 100% pure, unadulterated organic honey from our hives. Our honey is highly sought after, with customers remarking about the rich flavour and nostalgic memories of raw honey from their childhood. It is like their dads, or their grandfathers or the old fellow down the road used to produce. Although we follow organic principals and guidelines with our beekeeping; unfortu
nately we are not certified organic. Our honey is of premium quality because:-
-It is not heat treated, thus retaining the enzymes, antibacterial & other health properties
-Nothing is added to 'water it down'
-No chemicals are used anywhere near the bees or equipment
-Hives are never over-extracted so the bees have plenty for themselves
-Hives are in permanent locations so the bees are not put under the pressure of travel
-The bees are never fed sugar syrup or other substitutes so the honey is made only from nectar of a variety of native blossoms
We believe in a local and organic future of food production where good food shouldn't cost the earth, so we sell our honey at a fair price, and support the local economy wherever possible. Local Brisbane Honey, we have hives from Bribie Island out past Toowoomba.
