This is what we are looking like this morning in Julia Creek.
What this windy little scene doesn’t tell you is after a couple of very hot sunny days, helping to dry everything up abit after the flooding of the last few weeks, we had a storm at 1.30ish this morning.
40 mm in town, 80 k an hour wind gusts, and the mother of all lightning and thunder came down upon us.
Our heart palpatations hit “up there” as it started and we dont even own any cows. So thoughts to everyone after a sleepless night, it could be a looong day.

And we are stocked up and ready to roll again.

This is a big shout out to our freight companies who have gone the extra mile literally, to get us restocked.

The freight/logistics businesses in Australia are going bust left right and centre, and the words out of one of our guys mouths was”no we’ll come all the way around and duck back through Kynuna if it opens, because nothing feels more positive then if people can come in to full shelves” so bless and thank you guys, Fftm, Cannon logistics and bidfood for ducking around or staying put for another night so the fruit and veg can stay on the truck refrigerated until we can sort a plan to get it.
Thank you also to Chaz, Will and Lisa Guy and Jake Webster for getting the fruit and veg to the plane and getting it here for us❤️
