We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came down to support us over our opening days. The response has been incredible — so much so that we’ve already sold out of a few things, and others are running low!

The fresh sourdough came and went in about 5 minutes (wow!), but don’t worry — Back Beach Bakehouse will be back with 16 fresh loaves on Thursday 7th.

We’ve also got a refill fresh fruit and veg arriving Monday.

After the past couple of days, we’ve decided to adjust our hours slightly for tomorrow Sunday 3rd May. We’ll be open from 7am–12pm.

There’s still plenty of coffee flowing, along with a beautiful selection of organic and spray-free produce and Ancient Grains bread and Empire Pastry in the freezer.

If there’s something you’d love to see in store, let us know — we’re always happy to look at sourcing what our community wants.

It’s been so good meeting everyone and we’re really excited to keep sharing the good food we’ve sourced for Jurien Bay.

We’re looking for a reliable and eager Barista to join our café located inside a wholefood store.
Start date: May 1

About the role:
Regular shifts available weekdays between 6am–3pm, plus some weekends

Coffee making, customer service, and general café duties

Retail tasks at times (stocking, serving, product knowledge)

A friendly, food‑focused environment with plenty of variety

You’ll be a great fit if you:

Are reliable, positive, and keen to learn

Have a passion for good food and an interest in wholefood products

Enjoy customer interaction and teamwork

Have barista experience — or are enthusiastic to build your skills

Have strong English skills and full rights to work

Backpackers and juniors welcome.
