Our weekly farmer's market has great benefits both to the
community and to local farmers, artists and craftsmen. It stimulates profitable trading ; promotes viability and business growth
of independent primary producers, home gardeners and makers of
value-added products; it enables a regular supply of fresh food to
customers; it is an avenue for local artists and artisans to sell their work;
it pr

ovides growth of other businesses in Kalangadoo; it allows volunteer
work for our community; it gives a rewarding experience to tourists;
the cafe allows a meeting venue and social occasion for many visitors;
the BBQ lures hungry customers for a snack. Our market began on the 9th of April 2011 and is continuing to be a success to this day. The KFM is located on Eliza Street in Kalangadoo and can easily be found by following the signs.

Every Saturday talented ladies bring in a variety of cakes, slices and sometimes biscuits. Pictured is what we had last Saturday. But every week, we have something sweet and delicious for you to take home.

Speaking of baked goods, Zo and Dough's sourdough bread is back from this Saturday onward.

Glenny is coming with some lovely, handmade resin pieces. Perfect for friends and family, especially with Christmas coming up. The resin giftware is very affordable, with nothing priced over $30.
Also available are beautiful, handmade, flannelette baby quilts priced up to $40.

Hey, hey, get ready for this Saturday! Because we have a couple of things to tell you.

-As 'Riverland Fresh, Naracoorte' will be visiting us again, with his various Mettwursts, beef jerky, sauces, jams and more.

-Because she will unavailable to bring any for a couple of weeks. 'Zo and Dough' is bringing some extra Sourdough loaves.

-Courteously reminding you all too. That our Fair Day is coming up soon on the 26th of September. A final poster should be out next week for you to see!

In The Archway, where we have our tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes. We also have quite a few of Rob's brilliant wirework art pieces.
Hand sculpted from chicken wire. Ranging in sizes, from the small enough to fit in your palm. Middle sized, to put on your shelf. To the large, focal pieces.
It's a bit hard to take a picture of the detail he has put into these, so make sure to peruse them all when you come in next.

These are the six loves of Sourdough we received from 'Zo and Dough' a couple weeks back. They sold within half an hour!
So this Saturday, we will have 10 loaves. So hopefully more of you can get a chance of having one! Five will be whole, and five sliced. Perfect for however you would like to eat them.
