Hello, hello! 👋

I am so sorry I've been a little quiet on here lately.

I've been meaning to share updates on some new brands, exciting products arriving in store and a few upcoming changes but life has been incredibly full these past few weeks.

As many of you know, I've been juggling the final weeks of uni, multiple trips back and forth to the Gold Coast for intensive classes and exams, while also keeping the shop running and picking up stock and new shelving along the way.

I want to apologise some stock has taken a little longer than usual to arrive on the shelves. Between study commitments, travel, and the day-to-day running of the store, it has definitely been one of those seasons where everything seems to happen at once! I'm sure many of you can relate to that feeling of life piling on, especially this time of year. But amongst all the busyness, there has also been so much beauty.

There have been wonderful conversations in the shop, new customers discovering Finding Grace for the first time, familiar faces popping in for a chat, beautiful winter mornings and little reminders of why I started this business in the first place.

Thank you for your patience, support and understanding while I've been wearing all the hats. Your encouragement, kind words and continued support mean more than you know.

I'm looking forward to getting back into a rhythm and sharing more with you all very soon.

Many of you have seen and loved the bouquets of flowers in the shop 🌸
Homegrown by me, they’ve been brightening the counter, sparking conversations and bringing a little extra joy into the space.

This season hasn’t been the easiest… between a busy shop, uni and life, the garden has been slowly nurtured in the in-between moments. From a late start in the ground, a dry start to summer, and constantly fending off the chickens 🐓 it’s been a journey.
But somehow… they have still produced 🤍

My goal was simple, grow flowers for the shop, sell a few bunches and enter the Kempsey Show (after much encouragement and definitely outside my comfort zone).
And I’m so proud to say I did it 🥹
The dahlias held out for me and I came home with:
✨ 1st – Decorative "Fire and Ice"
✨ 1st – Ball "Salmon Joy"
✨ 1st – Pompom "Glenbank Little Angel"
✨ 2nd – Any other variety "Pinky o"

Something that started as a quiet passion project. A way to slow down, find calm, and reconnect has grown into something so much more. And now… award-winning flowers feels pretty surreal 🥹🌸

What’s made this even more special has been the conversations around the growing interest in homegrown flowers, especially among women in our community. So I’m currently in the process of organising a little afternoon where we can come together, connect, and swap dahlia tubers and seeds.

Good news, icy pole lovers!
After our freezer malfunction back in November and losing a full freezer of icy poles 😭, it’s been a long road getting everything sorted and replacing our chest freezer…
but I’m so happy to say are BACK! 🙌✨

We’ve started with a limited range of flavours:

Playing a little catch up on socials ✨

There’s been so much happening lately, in the best way!
The days have been long, the shop has been full and busy, and uni is back in full swing so my plate is very full, but I wouldn’t have it any other way 🤍

Running a small business means wearing many hats and while socials sometimes take a back seat, I’m still here behind the counter doing what I love every day ✨
