From mowing and maintenance to making sure the grounds are clean, welcoming, and ready for our visitors, these two work tirelessly to keep everything running smoothly. It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of long-standing Kingaroy Show Society member, Murray Rasmussen.

Murray was a true part of the fabric of our Show Society and wider community. Over many years, he gave his time, support, friendship and dedication to helping make our Show what it is today. His presence, stories and willingness to lend a hand will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

On behalf of the Kingaroy Show Society, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Mavis, Janelle, Rozlyn, Maxine, Dean, Peter and all of the Rasmussen family during this difficult time.

Thank you, Murray, for your years of contribution, community spirit and friendship. Your legacy within our Show Society will not be forgotten. ❤️

Not long now until we welcome you back — camping at the grounds officially reopens on the 10th of May! We can’t wait to see you all again soon.
