is our featured stall holder for June 🇸🇪🥐🥖

Geeti Persson’s love of baking began long before she opened her Footscray shopfront, with roots stretching back to running a bakery in Sweden. After arriving in Australia over a decade ago, she built a strong presence in the events and catering industry alongside her husband Paul, before bringing the passion to a permanent home on the high street in 2020.

Geeti’s craft was shaped in part by instruction from Michael James, founder of the renowned Tivoli Road Bakery, whose guidance deepened her skill in the art of sourdough.

Today, Inner West Swedish Baker draws on the warmth and simplicity of Swedish baking traditions, offering handmade artisan breads, pastries, and savoury baked goods that feel both rustic and refined.

Rooted in family, community, and craftsmanship, every loaf and slice tells a story of connection and tradition brought from Scandinavia to the heart of Melbourne’s inner west, and beyond.

Be sure to visit their stall at our next market, Sat, June 13th to purchase a fab baked treat.

FEATURED STALLHOLDER
🌵🫒🌿began with Dr. Natalie Alexopoulos - a PhD scientist, naturopath and lifelong believer in nature’s healing intelligence. Driven by her commitment to ingredient purity and sustainable farming, she established our certified organic farm in Wedderburn, Victoria to grow the plants she trusted most: olives, prickly pear cactus, and powerful medicinal herbs. With a background in embryology, nutritional science and clinical practice, Dr Nat develops every product with one guiding principle: Clean potent formulations that let nature do the work.

Transparency and integrity guide every decision they make. From how they farm to how they formulate, there are no shortcuts, no hidden ingredients, and no vague claims—just honest processes and complete traceability from the soil to your skin. By growing and producing the ingredients themselves, Chiron can stand behind every product with absolute confidence, giving you skincare grounded in truth, purity, and real accountability.

Give them a follow here and peruse their products when you visit their stall near the Piper Street entrance.
