This kid!!!! I absolutely love how independent he can be plus how much he still needs me but gee I truly spend most of my day waiting for him haha.

He knows I want to cook dinner but he just had to go see if some fellow kayak fisho's caught anything first. 20 minutes and waiting.
On top of the 90 mins I was waiting for him when he gave up and paddled the boat out cause I wouldn't put the motor on quickly enough haha.

For those who may be concerned. Coen will talk to absolutely anyone happily but he has proven time and time again that he has a great head on his shoulders! Ask him to go somewhere, he won't, he won't leave the park or close by at all.

Being just the way he is opens up so many conversations and opportunities to meet great people and as much I can get a little frustrated waiting I wouldn't change him for the world!

Eden Beachfront Holiday Park Review....

I honestly don't think we could have chosen a better first stop for our trip!!!

This park has it all!
* Only minutes from town
* Quiet and Peaceful
* Creek next to Park which is safe for kids to swim, SUP, kayak ect.
* Beach right at the front which is part of Two Fold Bay so mostly more protected.
* Absolutely Amazing Camp Kitchen/lounge area with everything you could ask for. BBQ's indoor and outdoor, 5 burner stove, large oven, pizza oven, slow cooker, toasters, kettles, fridge, tables, chairs, dishwashing sinks, wood fire, lounges, big screen TV, projector ect
* Laundry Facilites (very well priced) and multiple clothes lines around the park
* Cabins of all diffrent sizes and descriptions, ensure powered sites and the usual powered/unpowered sites.
* Playground facilities including jumping pillow, playground, tennis court, basketball court and ping pong table.
* Fire Pits and BBQ's along the beachfront
* Convenience items at reception as well as bait and icecreams
* Very Friendly and Helpful Staff! Nothing was a bother and everyone was happy.
* Dog friendly- although I'm not sure during peak times sorry.

We were both made to feel extremely welcome and left with some sadness but knowing we will definitely be back.

To have both the beach and a creek within seconds of camp made life alot easiar with Coen. If that surf was rough he could safely paddle in the creek.

We met so many wonderful people, many of which we now call friends. I personally can't thank you all enough for helping show Coen that meeting people on the road wouldn't be hard and that he will rarely be lonely.
This was his biggest fear leaving and his mind was fast put at ease.

The park is super dog friendly and Turbo quickly worked out that being around the camp kitchen at staff morning tea time was greatly beneficial where treats were concerned hehe.

Being close to town but not in town worked well for us. Only a fee minutes drive in to Eden, 25 minutes to Merimbula, 20 minutes to the Navy Wharfe and only minutes to Quarantine bay for fishing and Nullica Beach for pumping yabbies.

For cost, we booked and Ensuite Powered Site this time and stayed a total of 16 nights for $496 which makes it $31 per night. Extremely reasonable pricing in our eyes.

A massive Shoutout and Thankyou to Ash and all the staff at the park and all the folk we met whilst there for being so friendly and making us feel completely at ease.

We can't wait to come back! Maybe same time next year to catch up with the same friends.......

We have arrived at our next stop safely and are all setup.

Unfortunately packup and setup was anything but smooth mostly due to me having incredibly painful hands. My body is doing what it does best and reacting to everything, gifting me with many blisters, open wounds and severely cracked skin on both my hands. Hands are kind of useful when trying to 'do' so it's been a tedious and long day.

I gave in and enjoyed a meal out tonight as today has been enough. Camel Rock Brewhouse fed us both very tasty and reasonably priced meals in a lovely setting. Even a ring tail possum family came to visit! We will definetly be back, Coen wants to take me on in a game of pool hehe.

Coen has already met some fellow fisho's and ensured the fish are biting so I'm sure it will be an early start for us both while he nags me to hurry up and rig up 12 diffrent rods haha.

How lucky is Coen!!!
We were fishing down at Eden Wharf when the whale watching boat came in.
A lovely fellow park guest Sophia who we have got to know during our stay does the photography on the boat and she offered us both a go on the afternoon tour.

I have Turbo so can't but Coen jumped at the chance. He is incredibly anxious and un prepared but we have put the work in so the UN expected doesn't break him anymore.

Sophia will keep an eye on him as well as some fellow park guests who have taken him under there wing.

He has no shoes, my Jumper and the go pro as that's all we had in the car so fingers crossed he gets some footage but most of all I hope he has the most amazing time!!!
