Someone told me my mushrooms needed work last week. So I set to work trying to find the best recipe for large batch mushrooms. The key? Roasting them in a hot oven until the juices evaporate (a looong time), with entire heads of garlic, DO NOT SALT until the end, then plenty of salt and a sprinkle of fresh parsley. It is with immense gratitude (and a lump in our throats) that we notify our dear Loch Grocer community that the time has come to pass the baton.
Our final trading day will be Sunday 8th March.

We are excited to introduce the next custodian of our much loved store - Emilie takes the reins from March 11 and brings the warmth, passion and skills for continuing the next chapter of the Loch Grocer story in her own unique style.

We feel we have played our part and just as we are ready to move on, the exact person we were hoping to find appeared.

We are excited for you to meet and get to know Emilie over the next couple of weeks and know you will embrace her as warmly as you have us over the past few years.

We are profoundly grateful for all the last seven plus years has brought us, the conversations, laughs, tears and banter
We have made connections with so many of you that will go beyond our time here and thank you from the very bottom of our hearts for all of your love and support.

We want to acknowledge too, our incredible co-workers past and present, along with our families who have each been such an integral part of our lives here, and without whom we would not have been able to open our doors each day, thank you, you have all brought your own kind of joy to our lives.

Special shoutout to Dave who navigated us through the whole process so calmly, and professionally and who went beyond what was required to get us all to this point.

We wish Emilie our very best for her new beginning here.
