Hey Folks !

We’d like to let everyone know that we’ve made the decision to close The Goods as of Saturday 17th of Feb.

We’d like to thank our customers, our staff and our suppliers who helped us bring some really great products to town.
It’s been heaps of fun sharing with you some of our favourite things.. coffee, lunches, hot sauces, natty wines, amongst heaps more. We hope you discovered some new faves and added some rad products into your cooking repertoire.

We will be taking a break, maybe even a holiday 😮‍💨 and reassessing how the space may be used in the future.

Thanks for everything & we’ll see you round.

A GOOD CATCH 🎣

It’s the weather for it and we’ve been craving some good fish & chips, so we’re doing a little fisherman’s basket type thing this week.. everyone wins!

~ Panko crumbed arctic whiting & real calamari, yuzu yoghurt tartare, good chippies, cos wedge & pickled fennel (not pictured), lemon & a seaweed salt & vinegar seasoning. $24.

The “icefish” aka “arctic whiting” we’re choosing to use comes from Heard Island within the icy depths of the Southern Indian Ocean, and while it might not be particularly ‘local’, Heard Island is in fact an Antarctic island which is an Australian external territory which is fished and regulated by our Australian fishing industry.
Our friends source this incredible deep sea whiting and the quality is amazing!! Along with being on the MSC certified sustainable seafood list, making this a good fish to get behind! Also it’s bloody delicious!

On the menu this week from 11:30 - 2:30. Best consumed in the SummerClub🏖️ out front but takeaway is an option as always.

The passionate team at Uncle’s smoke over real wood in an open fire smokehouse to produce some exceptional goods.
100% Free Range Australian pork, no nasties, no fillers, all made with love in Melbourne.
