π MARKET MANAGER'S REPORT
(As dictated by Chad and proofread by Marv.)
π Marv: "Well Chad, how did we do?"
π¦Έ Chad: "I'd call it a royal success!"
βοΈ Sunday's market welcomed a RECORD CROWD of just over 3,000 visitors β and that's not even counting our four-legged patrons, who were out in force enjoying the sunshine and sniffing out snacks.
π€οΈ The weather gods were smiling upon us. Blue skies, comfortable temperatures, and barely a breeze. After last month's windy antics that saw three marquees attempt an unscheduled departure, this month was a much calmer affair.
ποΈ Many of our stallholders reported strong trading, with some completely SELLING OUT before the day was done. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our small businesses, makers, growers and food vendors.
β¨ One of the highlights was welcoming a wonderful group of NEW STALLHOLDERS. More than a dozen attended their first Caulfield Food & Craft Market, and several others were making their FIRST EVER MARKET APPEARANCE anywhere.
π We are truly honoured that they chose our market as the starting point for their stallholder journey. We hope their first market experience was the beginning of many successful market days to come.
ποΈ Visitors also supported our raffle-by-donation, with lucky winners taking home prizes including free-range eggs, a beautiful floral bouquet, and eco friendly bamboo cutting boards.
π To our visitors, volunteers, stallholders and supporters: thank you for helping make the day such a success.
π Chad's next assignment? Preparing for our JULY 5TH market, where we'll be embracing PLASTIC FREE JULY and highlighting stallholders who are helping reduce waste and promote sustainable choices.
π
Mark your calendars now for SUNDAY, July 5th.
π¦Έ Marv: "Same market place."
π Chad: "Same market channel."
π¦Έ Marv: "That's not how that saying goes."
π Chad: "See you next month!"
