pdt_ecoworld

pdt_ecoworld Our marine environment is under threat. Single-use plastic, chemicals running into the sea & neglect for marine life. Today's world is all about convenience.

We want to creat awareness & offer alternatives so that we have a marine environment for future generations! If you go into a supermarket you will notice vegetables & fruit in a single plastic wrap... Why? Does it mean their cleaner? Not really. It may make them last perhaps three days longer, but what do you do with the plastic? You throw it away, perhaps in the general waste which will then end

up in the landfill. Once in a landfill, there is a high chance it will be blown away & then maybe, it ends in the ocean. Do we really need to have so much plastic, so much waste? Straws, cutlery & of course bags all made out of plastic which takes years to break down. PDT Eco World wants to draw awareness to the waste & destruction we cause not only the marine environment but our planet. We sell some items to reduce the waste but really it's up to each of us to really look at how we reduce, reuse & recycle all of what we use. Each of us should be creating our own circular economy which would lead to a larger society circular economy. Reduce, reuse & recycle. (Sinlge use plastic wraps can be recycled in certain places please look for ones near you).

The pollution of the Marine World

Today's world is all about convenience.

If you go into a supermarket you will notice vegetables & fruit in single plastic wrap... Why? Does it mean their cleaner? Not really. It may make them last perhaps three days longer, but what do you do then with the plastic? You throw it away, and it may end up in landfill, it may be blown around by the wind and then maybe, it ends in the ocean.

What I mean by this do we really need to have so much plastic, so much waste? Straws, cutlery & of course bags all made out of plastic which takes years to break down.

This page is just to draw awareness to the waste & destruction we cause not only the marine environment, but our planet. We do sell some items to reduce the waste but really its up to each of us to really look at how we reduce, reuse & recycle all of what we use. Each of us should be creating our own circular economy which would lead to a larger society circular economy.
