I started this page over 10 years ago when I lived in WeFo. 2500 locals now follow the page. The purpose was to fire up the street and have local businesses on and around Barkly St in West Footscray post offers to their locals. This was long before Uber Eats and all the other apps took 30% or more from restaurants. I was hoping that a restaurant might say “End of week special for WeFo locals - #% or #$ off for the next 2 hours if you show this post.” Did it ever happen? If not, why not?
