Job Opportunity: Salad Green Farm Hand / Processing Operator

**Immediate Start**

Location: Merbein, VIC

Employment Type: Full-Time (Mon–Fri, with rare potential for weekend work and overtime during peak periods)

Pay Rate: Horticultural Industry Award Wage

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Full-Time Farm Hand and Processing Operator to join our growing salad green operation based in Merbein. This role is hands-on and spans both field operations and our wash-pack facility. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality, and can work at a steady, efficient pace.

Main Duties
Post-Harvest Processing: Washing, drying, and correct coolroom storage of freshly harvested baby leaf greens.
Packing: Packing, and preparing produce for distribution to strict quality standards.
Field Maintenance: General hand-weeding and crop maintenance to ensure clean, high-yield beds.

Additional Duties (Depending on Experience & Need)
Deliveries: Transporting and delivering produce as required.
Dispatch: Loading and unloading trucks and delivery vehicles.
Machinery & Equipment: Basic operation of tractors for field tasks.
Forklift Work: Safely operating a forklift (proven competency required).

What We Are Looking For
A strong work ethic and a reliable, punctual attitude.
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, standing for periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Proven competency with a forklift.
Basic experience operating farm machinery (tractors) is a strong advantage.
Ability to be flexible with hours when seasonal demand requires overtime or weekend work.

Local to Merbein or the greater Sunraysia area (or able to reliably commute).
