What a thing to watch. Colin Fassnidge and James White took our Milk fed Dairy Capretto onto the Moffat Main Stage at Taste Port Douglas and showed a full house exactly what it can do.

A butter curry with Meredith Farm Produce goat belly, cooked in front of the crowd and seasoned with Olsson’s salt. Ten years of Taste Port Douglas, and this year the Capretto got the stage.

Thank you both. Goat has spent a long time on the edges of Australian menus, and seeing it cooked with this much care and confidence in front of a crowd like that means a lot to us. Every one of those animals is raised on our farm at Meredith, so watching it land in front of an audience like this is a genuine thrill for the whole team.

Here’s to celebrating great produce and the chefs who put it front and centre. 🐐
