Happy Fathers Day to all those out there that are blessed enough to call this day their own.
It marks another year of learning how to do it better, how others make it seem so simple and learning how my own father had the patience, love in his heart but best intentions always from the mind.
Another year of pride, another year of defeats, another year of joy, another year of lessons.
Its crazy to think you can love something so much, but then so relieved when they fall asleep, to go from little giggles and sequels of excitement, to full tantrums and high pitch screaming, but still have the mindset that you're doing ok, always questioning the decisions you made and was the effort enough.
Today marks one day on the calender to be celebrated, but now as a dad, I see the bigger picture, every day is celebrated, every day is a blessing, everyday is a challenge and everyday is different. So yes, enjoy the day, cherish yesterday and look forward to tomorrow.
To all the single Mums, Step dads, uncles, mentors, father figures, you are all seen, you all show up, and you all give your all, that's the gift of today.
