Swedish Candles SA Selling Swedish candles (some say Canadian candles) in Mt Barker, SA area.

It's well known that the Swedish (or Canadian if you'd prefer) candles were used during the Thirty year war by soldiers to keep warm, to cook or simply to get light. It's basically a 360 cook top, relatively slow burning fire and a nice torch to look at. The rag or kindling inside the cuts of the log is wax-treated and protected from weather and can therefore be lit for 2-3 hours depending on the

log size. You can find them at the Farmers market in Stirling 26/7 and otherwise at the Farmers market in Mt Barker.

We will be at the Mount Barker Farmers Market this Saturday from 8.30 -12.30. This is fantastic time of year to light a candle in the back yard for gathering with friends and family. Not only are they beautiful, they also offer heat and warmth. Prices rang from $16-40. Hope to see you there for a chat.
