And that, folks, is a wrap on a VERY wet market. 😂🌧️

Our soggy market flags are currently hanging out on the clothesline (and how rude is that blue sky in the background?)

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful stallholders who could very easily have looked out the window this morning, rolled over and gone back to bed, but instead, they packed up their wares, braved the weather and showed up to make the market happen.

And to our incredible volunteers - the people who turn up month after month, rain, hail or shine, to bump in, set up, pack down, move things around, solve problems and generally make the whole thing work. We appreciate you. 🥰

And finally, thank you to YOU, our community. For coming out in the rain, supporting our stallholders, having a wander, grabbing something delicious and proving once again that a little bit of weather isn’t going to stop Mount Beauty from getting together. ❤️

Now everyone start praying for sunshine ASAP for our October market please! 🙏☀️😂

IT’S RAINING. SO WHAT? 🌧️

We know it’s looking a little damp outside - but we’ve got a very simple solution…

Come to the market anyway. We’ve moved indoors! 🙌

The Mount Beauty Community Centre is dry, warm and absolutely packed with market goodness this morning.

Come and have a wander through plants, handmade goodies, jewellery, clothing, homewares, artwork, skincare, gifts, garden treasures and plenty of delicious things to eat - and don’t forget the long awaited return of The Little Vintage Van! 🌱🛍️☕️

Bring an umbrella. Wear your wet-weather gear. Embrace the drizzle.

Then leave it all at the door and enjoy a warm, dry morning at the market. ☕️❤️

Want the good news? 😁

The market is 100% going ahead tomorrow, and is almost completely indoors!

So no having to stay inside all morning wishing you could get out of the house - come on down to the Mount Beauty Community Centre and enjoy a jam packed line-up of market stalls in the warm and dry hall!

We still have coffee, food, face painting, fresh produce, sweet treats, plants, jewellery, skincare, giftware and more...

But alas, the forecast is looking a little too wet for Hydro Park, so we're heading back into the Mount Beauty Community Centre this Saturday!

Mount Beauty Market + Oktoberfest = one very good Saturday! 🍺🐾

We’re very excited to be teaming up with Mountain Monk Brewers for Oktoberfest on Saturday, 3 October.

Last year’s Oktoberfest attracted 700+ people and 100+ dachshunds, and with the market joining the party, we’re expecting a big day in Mount Beauty - which means we’d love to have even more stallholders along for the fun!

✨ New stallholders are very welcome to apply, and of course, we’d love to see our regulars back too.

If you make, grow, create, bake, sell or have something wonderful to share, we’d love to hear from you. It’s a great opportunity to get your products in front of a big crowd and be part of a fantastic community day.

What a day. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to Saturday’s Mount Beauty Market!

From handmade treasures and cosy winter woollies to chocolates, jams, flowers and plenty of treats, it was another wonderful morning supporting our incredible local makers, growers and small businesses.

But our favourite story from the day? It has to be Josh from Hugs, Chats and Handshakes.

When one of our stallholders discovered they had a flat trailer tyre during pack-up, Josh quietly rolled up his sleeves, grabbed the tools and got to work. As if that wasn’t enough, he also stayed behind to help clean up the hall too.

Josh spends every market offering kindness, conversation and a listening ear, and this weekend he reminded us that community isn’t just something you talk about, it’s something you do.

You’re an absolute market legend, Josh. 👏

As for us? We couldn’t resist taking home a gorgeous bunch of blooms from Bring Around a PosY, arranged in our beautiful Clay by Tina vase. Safe to say our dining table is looking much happier this week. 🌸

The Mount Beauty Market is on NOW at the Mount Beauty Community Centre, and it’s already shaping up to be a fantastic morning.

We’ve got an incredible mix of local makers, growers and small businesses, plus crepes, coffee, sausages, cakes, chai and plenty more to keep you well fed while you browse.
