It’s absolutely a must have for the next few days and weeks, and it’s vital for swirling in your next Winter Soup.

Alexandrina's Crème fraîche is a naturally matured, thickened soured cream using culture. It has a light and lemony taste, and goes well with both savoury and sweet foods as a condiment. Crème fraîche is made by adding a culture (special bacteria) to and fermenting our fresh Pure Jersey Cream. It has a subtle tangy, slightly nutty flavour and rich, velvety texture.

30 % minimum fat | available in 500 ml tub.

Heat Stability: our Alexandrina Crème fraîche has a higher fat content (around 27% minimum) and won't curdle or split when boiled, making it ideal for hot sauces and casseroles.

Flavour Profile: It is less tart and sour than standard sour cream, offering a more creamy-mellow, nutty tang.

Versatility: Unlike sour cream, our Alexandrina crème fraîche can actually be whipped like a heavy cream to create a thick, stable topping for desserts.

It’s absolutely not for the faint hearted!
