Feel warm and snug with this classic Japanese comfort food: Omelette Rice with Chicken (Omurice) πŸ³πŸ…

The dish features a fluffy omelette wrapped around savoury chicken fried rice. When making it, a splash of Kikkoman Soy Sauce adds an extra layer of umami to every bite! 🀎

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Method

1. Dice the onion and chicken into small cubes. Melt butter in a frying pan and sautΓ© until the chicken is cooked through.
2. Add 2 tbsp of tomato sauce to the mix and cook for a further minute. Then, add in the steamed rice and stir to combine. Season with soy sauce and pepper, then divide into two portions.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and soy milk. Heat half of the olive oil in a small frying pan and pour in half of the egg mixture to create a thin omelette.
4. In the pan, place one portion of the chicken rice onto the omelette and gently fold it over the rice mixture. Transfer to a serving plate and shape as desired.
Repeat with the remaining oil and egg mixture to create another omelette and repeat the steps.

Top your plates with 1 tbsp of tomato sauce and serve immediately 🍳✨
