🍫🍫🍫 An exciting addition to the Fat Beets shelves this week - a sweet selection from Kenyak Chocolate!

Made in Hobart using chocolate made from responsibly and sustainably sourced Swiss cocoa, these treats are ones that you might find hard to share…!

Milk Chocolate Honeycomb

Made using Tarkine Wilderness Honey - super special stuff. Honey sourced from beehives placed deep inside the Tarkine Rainforests in North-West Tasmania - one of the most surreal, undistrubed wilderness areas in the world. Home to some of the cleanest air on earth.

Dark Chocolate Honeycomb

This Honeycomb is made with Balmoral Neighbourhood Honey, from sunny Brisbane.
Cared for by a rather sensibly radical man called Jack from Bee one Third. He’s polinating change by reconnecting communities with the reality of what pollinators do for our food system, our health and our overall well-being.

Rocky Road

A seriously scrumptious box of handmade Rocky Road. Classic. Nostalgic. Full of all the good stuff. Featuring a 150g slab (or occasionally three 50g-ish pieces) of Handmade Vanilla Marshmallow, Sugar Roasted Macadamias, Dried Cherries and Cranberries, and Shredded Coconut. Covered in Doc.Choc’s special (and secret) blend of chocolate.

Hazlenut Block

A bar of simple delight. Crunchy Gianduja made by blending roasted Australian Grown Hazelnuts with a super dark Salted Caramel and secret blend of our Milk and Dark Chocolates. Gianduja traditionally is an Italian treat made by blending chocolate with hazelnut paste. The Italians are very specific about it being 30% hazelnut, so that the texture is just right.

You can grab these in store from Friday when you collect your orders, and they’ll appear on the online shop from next week.

Be prepared to fall in love! 🐝🍫💝

And we have most of what you need to make them here at Fat Beets - flour, sugar, salt, yeast, grab some baking powder from Jas at IGA … then whatever topping takes your fancy - local honey, jams, maple syrup, or a poached egg?!

Pop on to the website or in to the shop on Friday or Saturday and make yourself to some golden fluffy treats!

🥚🍳Poached or fried on toast? A delicious omelette? Or soft boiled with soldiers, perhaps? 🍳🥚

However you like your eggs, we have some of Tassie’s best in stock for you, so drop in today between 10am and 1pm and grab yourself a dozen or two!

Shakespeare Hills follow regenerative organic practices. Their hens share pastures with their organic dairy herd, meaning no herbicides, pesticides or synthetic fertilizers are used. These happy hens feed on grass and other plants, bugs and seeds they have foraged in the pasture, and organic non-GMO soy-free grain… making these free range, pasture raised, organic eggs extra tasty and extra nutritious.

Have an eggsellent morning, and hopefully we see you today!

☝🏻Just a reminder - between 12pm and 1pm on Saturdays, any perishables that won’t be at their best in a week’s time will be sold at 50% off their original price - all delicious and fresh, but best eaten within the week! 👏🏻
