Thought I was going to be severely short this week but turns out it swung my way and I’ve got in abundance some of the best eggs that can be offered in a big radius.

Life is extremely busy at the moment please bare with me if confirmation or response time seems longer or slower than usual. Week to week availability could fluctuate heavily over the next few weeks although if this week is a statistic sample for the next few weeks then all will be well.

Extra large has taken a 25% drop in available figures as quality that I’m happy enough to provide face to face is abit short at the moment.

But in a twist of events an army of doubles showed up to take their place. You may. Or may. Or may. Find doubles in your XL over the next few weeks. If you really really really don’t like this. Just let me know so I can select accordingly 😁

You guys made me work last week to the tune of 792 trays. It was largely unexpected and I was only prepared for it by chance. I did an absolute perfect job on the numbers with no one missing out and not a single egg left over. It was highly satisfying considering I didn’t expect it but I went off a feeling. Typically off the back of a spontaneously huge week like that. It is at least 20% under the following week (this week). But sometimes you never know 🤔

I had a fantastic amount of double yolks for everyone last week (234 trays) and the quality of them is very high at the moment. I am expecting about 80% of this figure this week.

Extra large is also available and there is a chance that in 2-3-4 weeks I could actually be moderately short on stock that I’m happy enough to provide. But I’ll have to face that situation at the time as I could be wrong.

Coming at you this week with much better health than last week. I was so sick last week I could actually barely walk by Thursday afternoon. But the show went on and I put it all together as normal none the less but also thankfully and gratefully with the gaps being filled by my lovely wife also which that 10% she holds together for me sometimes actually making it possible for me to do what I do for you as efficiently as possible. Especially when double illness strikes. Got myself some kind of virus and then tonsilits showed up as well. But much better now.

What also showed up earlier than expected was those double yolks I was promising would return soon. They did. They’re not as grandiose in size as I’ve had for you in the past. But they will quickly get there I can tell. Pictured is the examples of how they are currently. They’re from very young hens. They just need another week to fill out with some more size and they’ll be premium. They’ll be very wholesome on the inside. Rich tasting. Nutrient packed. Very healthy young hens giving you their best.

Extra large also available and could be abit short in 3 weeks time but I’ll address at that point.

Processing orders soon. Only just sitting down for the day. Please remember you can actually order any time during the week as a lot of people have been missing out due to late orders and me selling out by Friday. It would appear some people think they have to wait for my Wednesday post. This is just communication or a reminder or to say what’s available and to stay in your algorithm to some degree haha.

As mentioned last week. Demand has jumped quickly and foreseeable and predictable volumes are suggesting I might actually be moderately short for existing demand in the coming months. To prepare for this I have stopped immediately catering to any new customers and have had to implement waiting list again. A lot of you hopped on board in exactly this way. When in the past I had to wait for a safer or more sustainable time to spread some more around. Please always help me by never sharing posts of mine or helping me advertise as it just sends a lot of traffic my way that I can’t immediately cater to with a current demand of 650-750 trays per week. Word of mouth is most reliable at this stage 6 years later.

As for this week. Extra large is available on healthy figures and I am still very happy with the size and quality combination they are boasting. As well as I am happy to have held the dollar value figure in this challenging economy.

Double yolks are still in their annual drought. Very poor numbers. But. In I think 2-4 weeks. The drought will break in potentially record breaking fashion and I think I will have an absurd amount of doubles to happily distribute. I’ll make it known when it happens but not quite yet. Until then. They’re very short. As it happens once a year sometimes twice.
