⭐️ Meet the faces of the epic farmers who provide the eggs we sell in our store ⭐️

Each farm dedicates itself to the philosophy of ~happy, healthy hens create the most delicious eggs~

South Gippsland feeds their chooks natural grains and proteins bought directly from local farmers. Madelaine starts her chooks off from hatchlings on organic feed to meet NASAA certified organic criteria.

The Australian standard for free range eggs is 10,000 hens per hectare. Madelaine has 250 per hectare, Chooke at the Rooke has 94 per hectare, and we couldn’t find the exact amount for South Gippsland… but we do know it follows the ACCC’s standards and if you go to their Instagram you can see some very happy chooks!

When you shop local, you support the families directly, and the other farms they partner with. Next time you buy their eggs from us, think of these happy faces along with those happy hens!
