Dear valued customers and friends
The time has come for Apennine Gourmet Foods to bid you all a very fond farewell. After the recent sale of the building we lease, the new owners have decided not to continue our tenancy but use the premises for themselves. After considerable consideration and family discussions, we have decided not to relocate and fitout another premises, especially in the current challenging economic climate, particularly here in Victoria. The decision has not come easily but we feel now is the time our mother Elsa can finally retire 🙌, Daniela will join her and enjoy weekday leisurely lunches and coffee dates 🤣 and after a long overdue and well deserved break and spending some quality time with his girls, Robert will move on to another venture! He’s too young to retire 😜.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our amazing independent and artisan supermarkets who have stocked their refrigerators with our products. It has truly been an honour to be in your stores and the relationships we have forged over the years will be treasured. Please remember to support your local small/medium business as they are the backbone of every community!
To our local community customers who pop in on the daily to our Hadfield premises, we thank you for your patronage and friendship. We will miss you all.
To our many staff members over the years we thank you for your dedication, loyalty and hard work. We couldn’t have done it without you and loved having you all as part of the Apennine family.
Production will continue until September 10th so please pop in and stock up or just to say goodbye.
