Every hall of bogans ready to bingo and fundraise is built on the backs of a few community legends.
There’s the school mum friend who somehow knows where to find the cheapest top notch wine. 🤪
The mate who always turns up with a meat tray. 🤩 The quality bloke who seems to know someone who can get anything organised…
And then there’s the local legend who quietly gets things done without ever needing the spotlight. That grouse bloke is Nigel from IGA Duncraig and his team of top tier legends.
Nigel is known throughout the bogan community by many prestigious titles:

🥇 Guardian of the Sacred Snags & Sauce Bottles
🥇 Supreme legend of the suburbs
🥇 Head Honcho of the Hard Yakka Division
🥇 Bogan-in-chief and High Bogan Council Member
Some even say he’s the unofficial Warden of the Wheelie Bin Cricket Match and Patron Saint of the “Don’t Worry, We’ll Help With That Ingredient” Committee.
While the rest of us are running around wondering how we’re going to pull an event together with not a lot of money, Nigel and the IGA team always seem to find a way to help.
Whether that’s through great pricing, donating products, supporting fundraising events or making sure the canteen staff can grab what they need when they need it, IGA’s support quietly sits behind so many of the things our school community enjoys.
For Bogan Bingo, Nigel and the team are once again stepping up by supplying cool drinks, water and a stash of bogan prizes for the night.
And no, we’re not telling you what they are. 😉 maybe you can spot a hint or two..
If there was an Honorary Bogan Hall of Fame, we’re pretty sure Nigel would already be found down the ‘pick of the bunch’ isle.
