In 1952, Peter Schulte opened a small specialty Butcher shop in Plainlands. Today, his son Peter, continue his father's legacy. Schulte's Meat Tavern is an icon on the Warrego Highway. For decades, they have attracted visitors with their high-quality meats, famous wursts and award-winning bacon.
