The owners, Geoff and Sue Rogers, have had many years’ experience in the fishing industry. Geoff grew up working with his father before finally buying his own vessel and beginning his time in the fishing industry. Following devastating floods in 2013 in Bundaberg, Geoff and his family saw the urgent need for a flood-free facility for fishermen in the Bundaberg region, and purchased and resurrected a rundown, unused seafood establishment at the mouth of the Burnett River and gave birth to Australian Seafood.com in 2014.

Australian Seafood.com remains a privately owned company. The owners together with their hand-picked team of highly qualified and experienced staff continue to grow the business while supporting the entire regional fishing industry and the local economy with their modern facilities and through local purchases and employment. The company has a small permanent staff but does employ up to 30 when processing. Our staff have many years of experience in the fishing industry, and it is their knowledge that has helped develop Australian Seafood.com to what it is today. Our establishment is export-registered and adheres to and complies with all relevant regulations and requirements. Our excellent processing practices ensure that only products of the highest quality are sold under our brands.
