Winter Open Hours Initiate 🙌❄️

Note: a change in our weekly open days starting this week 😘

We will be closed an extra day during these quieter months - and looking at the stats we decided those days will be Wednesday & Thursday.

Sorry for any inconvenience this causes any of y’all, but after such a fantastic long weekend & Winter Festival (recap on that to come) it seems like the perfect time to switch into Winter mode,

(Winter mode that may also include a few weeks off completely somewhere in the middle to prepare for what would be our second Port Fairy Summer on the shop 🙌)

BUT at this stage we still have all your delicious lunchly needs covered FRIDAY TO TUESDAY every week.

Featured lunch for two (if you could share it 😇)

MAIN: fresh daily focaccia sandwiches 🤤
1. caprese with olive paste & rocket
2. il paradisio, mortadella, pistachio pesto, stracciatella

SIDE: hot chips with the James’ delicious house seasoning, cheese & gravy (I can’t possibly describe how good these are until they invent being able to taste through screens - ITS THE BEST CHIPS EVER).

FIN: sweet treat to round it off - soft and irresistible NYC choc chip cookies.

Autumn Scenes 🌞✨

The best time to visit Port Fairy,
It is a little quieter,
There is a little more time to wander,
For the skies, sunrises & sets,
For the crisp mornings,
The warm afternoons,
For the peaceful walks,

For cozying with a warm beverage on a cold morning and still being able to enjoy a delicious lunch spread or picnic in the warm sun by the afternoon.

Before it gets as cold and wet as it can we enjoy the wholesomeness of autumn.

Halfway through the school holidays already!

It’s been awesome having you all in, thanks so much for stopping by and keeping us busy 🙌

We’ve also been busy behind the scenes, pulling together deli ideas and inspiration we’ve been holding onto since we opened - and are finally (and in some cases nearly) ready to roll out…

We have for sale house-made butter, house olives and some other seriously good treats that James has been researching and sourcing: think in the realm of - cured meats, cheeses, pickled chilli, actually yum tinned items.

And, some test kitchen moments for future weekend specials 🙌🙂‍↕️ - still tinkering and sourcing the perfect ingredients and ratios … but watch this space.
