YOU CAN NEVER FAIL WITH KALE: Many of you will know the wonderfully welcoming Michele - a much-loved staff supervisor. Here he is pictured with a couple of bunches of kale.⁠

Our life hack this week is kale chips. They only take a minute (or 12) to prepare and beat the packaged stuff hands down. Plus it’s a great alternative way to ingest some green stuff.⁠
⁠
Ingredients:⁠
- 1 bunch of kale⁠
- 1 tbsp of coconut oil or olive oil⁠
- 1/4 tsp sea salt to taste⁠
⁠
Method:⁠
- Rinse leaves⁠
- Place in a large bowl and massage oil into leaves⁠
- Bake leaves for 10 mins on a baking tray. Use low heat (around 140 degrees) turning halfway or until crisp ⁠
- Salt to taste⁠
⁠
Perfect when snuggled up on the couch on a cold night with your loved ones although beware of the chlorophyll crumbs.⁠

CONNECTION + LOVE: Eve Studio is a local Preston fitness studio for women + non-binary people to access wonderful teachers/classes for all levels of fitness in a very supportive environment and is owned by Annie Carter.

Annie also hosts a podcast on life, business and yoga called YES YOU and approached our very own Sue for an interview about being a woman in small business.

Sue has been an enthusiastic member of the community for many years and was thrilled about the opportunity to speak with Annie.
