We proudly supply our fruit to family owned & run Venus Citrus. Keep an eye out for Venus brand fruit in shops all around the world and you'll be supporting local farming families from across the Riverland region.

Great day for protective netting over our little fruitlets 🌬
Other benefits of netting citrus include:
+ Reduced wind speed = reduced evapotraspiration => Less water per kg of fruit
+ Reduced tree injury, means less nutrients going to healing and more going to growing.
+ Far faster tree establishment of new plantings
+ 10% shading effect reduces sunburned fruit
+ Less frost events
+ Increased number of spray days means more timeliness of any application and greater effectiveness.
+ Hail protection, which can't be insured for otherwise.

This isn’t an ad but just wanted to shoutout this Riverland business who has stopped using the little annoying stickers on fruit and started laser engraving instead- better for the environment and for prepping in the kitchen. I hope more brands move this way!
