🛒 How It Works:
Box Divvy uses an opt-in system - you only order when you want to. Each week:
• You’ll receive an email when the order opens
• You have a few days to shop and join or open splits (shared boxes)
• Produce is ordered fresh, direct from growers - no storage or unnecessary waste

Heavy supply of Asian Greens, driven by warm spring weather, is pushing prices down. George wants you to buy loads of these tender baby buk choi, and has reduced the price to $1.50 a bunch. That’s literally half the price you’ll find in Colesworth.

They’re back: Pines, Papaya & Pash!

Tropical Queensland’s been through the wringer- unusual weather triggered premature flowering in pineapple crops in 2022 (glut in 2023) and again in 2025, especially in the south-east. After an early flush this year came severe shortages. The good news? Supply and prices are easing between now and Christmas, though full production may not return until 2028, says Anthony Dobson from Tropical Pines (pineapples can take up to two years to fruit).

Passionfruit is also great value right now- just note the odd leaf-rub mark on the skin. It doesn’t affect eating quality or shelf life.

This week’s Divvy Picks

Iceberg lettuce is just 89¢ a head- the same price it fetched at Canberra’s Belconnen and Fyshwick markets way back in September 1982 (when “fancy” lettuce hadn’t even been invented yet and a salad meant iceberg, tomato and maybe some tinned beetroot). Meanwhile Manuel Xerri is sending us big spring broccoli at $4/kg and sweet bananas from Agnes Banks at $2.84/kg, plus juicy blueberries for only $2.90 a punnet- perfect timing now the strawberries have peaked. Proper old-school bargains with a fresh spring twist!
