Me and my two girls, Holly and Grace, doing what we do at Mowatts: baking our pies & pasties, serving customers, answering calls, keeping the ovens going and the shelves full. Along with making and selling our Scottish food and keeping the cabinets stocked with our variety of meats!
There’s plenty of hard work, early mornings and the usual hustle and bustle that comes with a family business, but there’s also plenty of good food, a yarn over the counter and a few laughs along the way. We love it all. ❤️
Looking at the old photo, it’s fair to say the girls have been around the shop for most of their lives. From hanging around the shop as kids to working with me still now. They’ve certainly put in a few hours over the years. Not always by choice, I might add! 😂
Mowatts has been built on hard work, family, and a love of Scottish food. We’re proud to be a family business, doing things the old-fashioned way and sharing a little bit of Scotland here in Australia. 🏴🇦🇺
