This week’s stallholder spotlight is on Martelli Orchards🍒🌿

Based in Orange, they grow a huge range of seasonal produce across two farms using minimal inputs and no gas ripening or waxes.

While they’re famous for their cherries and pick-your-own season each December, their stalls are packed year-round with everything from apples, berries and stone fruit to pumpkins, garlic, herbs and fresh vegetables.

To keep the variety coming through every season, they work closely with local growers in Canowindra and Bathurst too 🍎🥬

Stallholder Spotlight 🌵 Mudgee Mini Nursery

Mudgee Mini Nursery is run by Cloe, who started the business in October 2025.

Built from a lifelong love of plants, inspired by her grandmothers’ gardens, she now grows and shares a mix of indoor plants, succulents, and cacti.

Cloe loves all kinds of greenery and says there’s something calming and rewarding about watching them grow

Recently joining the local market scene, Cloe is looking forward to meeting more of the community and sharing what she grows.

Stop in, say hi and pick up a pot plant, each one nurtured with care and love 🪴

Meet Mike & Billie - Dry Creek Farm Mudgee

After 10 years on the land, these local goat farmers are now bringing their product direct to you.

What began with goats for w**d control has grown into something more - locally raised goat meat, straight from their farm. They also offer farm-raised beef, giving you even more choice straight from the source.

They farm without chemicals or medications, focusing instead on regenerative practices so you can feel good about how your food is raised!

What you’ll find at the markets

🌿 Market day is coming up and Martelli Orchards will be bringing their beautiful seasonal veggie boxes to the Globe Farmers Markets on May 17th - and you can pre-order yours now for easy pick-up on the day.

Each $35 box is packed with what’s fresh and in season, grown with care and picked at its best 🍅🥬

Pre-ordering helps make sure there’s plenty of good produce heading to market - and keeps our growers doing what they do best.
