Cailin Feijoas

This year we've split the Feijoas we sell into small and med-large, the small at $10 per kg and the med-large (and some massive!) into $12 per kg. The teenyy tiny we keep, they make awesome jam and crumble. Pickup from Seabrook in Melbourne's western suburbs.

Mum Roxanne McCafferty incorporating some maths lessons into our Feijoa care, getting me to calculate the area of the oval shaped zone so we could calculate the amount of fertiliser for them.
We are mid-season now as they produce between mid-April and mid-June and we've collected over 60kg of ripe Feijoa in less than a month from our two trees!

The Feijoas are huge this year!! We sold 5kg in 1 day and would be sold out if we hadn't decided to limit it to 2kg per customer, sharing the love around 😊

Our home grown organic feijoas have started their season, the biggest they've been, lots weighing in at 100g, Dad Alec McDonald did my job today and picked up the 6kg that ripened this week. They're available for pickup at Seabrook for $12 per kg. Message us if you're interested 😊

Just had a chat with my main man feijoa producer Cailin about why we call our feijoas , and he asked whether we use chemicals on them and mum (me) responded with, well water is chemical, everything is chemical, you are chemical and then Cailin responded with "man I love drinking chemicals" 🤣🤣🤣 Future comedian? Gorgeous red roses

Love my big red rose! Smells gorgeous too. Sadly the cuttings I took to propagate didn't root - 4 of my other Roses did but this one decided to be stubborn 😉 I'll try again after they finish flowering.
