☀️ *Market Update: Spring is Officially Here!*

Australian *asparagus* has hit the markets, bringing the ultimate hallmark of spring to our shelves! It is fresh, crisp, and ready for your dinner plate. Adding to the excitement, *mangoes* are making their very first appearance of the season! These are gorgeous size 12 mangoes, meaning they are beautifully large, juicy, and ready to enjoy.

The considerably warmer weather this week does mean some of our temperature-sensitive berries will be a little more touch-and-go. For the most reliable pick, blueberries are your best bet right now since they handle the heat beautifully and won’t spoil fast.

The great news is that fruits are coming down in price across the board! This includes sweet, refreshing favourites like watermelon and pineapple. On top of that, citrus is still fantastic across the board, with blood oranges and mandarins leading the way with incredible flavour.

For your dinner basket, broccoli is very affordable this week, making it the perfect time to stock up. Other items that are looking good include cauliflower, fennel, and iceberg lettuce.

While juice has taken a price hit across the board unfortunately due to broader market shifts, orange juice and clear apple juice are still on sale this week! This is the final week of the sale, so make sure you grab a bottle—they have long use-by dates so you can easily stock up your fridge.

In other news, finger limes and figs are officially out of season and have become very expensive, so we have taken them off our list for now.

Market Update!

Here is the lowdown on your fresh food basket, what to devour fast, and where to find the absolute best value.

Fruit

Strawberries: The recent weather means our strawberries are a little rain-affected this week. They are still delicious, but we suggest you eat them within 3 days of purchasing!

Blueberries: These little blue gems are much hardier and will easily last you the whole week.

Watermelon: We have seen a dramatic fall in price this week! Grab a giant melon and slice up some sunshine for the family.

Citrus: Everything in the citrus aisle is eating beautifully right now! Mandarins are bursting with juicy sweetness, and blood oranges are showing off their gorgeous, deep crimson colour. If you love a bargain, our funny lemons (oddly shaped but totally perfect on the inside) are priced really well!

Vegetables

Asian Veggies: Looking absolutely lush, vibrant, and ready for your next stir-fry.

Snow & Sugar Snaps: Superb quality this week with that perfect, satisfying crunch.

Cauliflowers: Still outstanding! Roast them whole or mash them up for a cosy side dish.

Roma Tomatoes: Fantastic value this week—perfect for batch-cooking a rich pasta sauce.
